BLLLLLOOOOOG...
At work now and the above is something I haven't done in a while. Updates. I have two jobs. School begins tuesday (of which I am taking 18 hrs... AGAIN). So my weeks (and saturdays) are now devoted to film school, filming, answering phones and data entry. Friends and Vicky will have to be very patient. Then again, we're all busy, so it'll work out just fine.
Sooner news... I am going to have my house all to myself (now that my sister is off at IOWA) from sunday - thursday. There will be a lot of watching Miyazaki with Vicky and possibly anyone else interested in doing so all day on probably wednesday. I was thinking that an all out post on facebook to the Miyazaki club at Columbia might work, but I'm debating whether or not it will be a 'just you and I' type of thing with Vicky.
Since I have plenty of time in which to do next to nothing here @ K&L, I have been importing a lot of my mixes to the receptionist's computer. I haven't really been listening to them much for two reasons: 1. I don't listen to much in my car anymore and 2. Vicky and I are in such great shape that reminders of my past are not really necessary anymore. However, listening to them and the songs on them now ovccasionally bring me back a few years. It is so damn strange how we humans can relive specific moments in our past as though we were just reaching over to get a pen. It's that damn connection I have with this music. I just got off the phone with Erin who I haven't spoken to in forever. I was afraid that she'd left for school already, but to my delight, she will be available to party with us this upcoming week.
My dad busted his shoulder at the last family party (sub-flexer dislocation) while diving into the pool. It was kinda funny at first until I realized he wasn't kidding and then needed to help out of the pool. Oh, yeah, right underneath the damn lifeguard who just kinda sat there wondering if he should do something or just continue holding his dick for another minute. As I was helping him out of the pool, people crowded and I backed off to let the paramedics do their thing. I was looking around and when I turned back to my dad, that instant his shoulder popped back into the socket... Jesus. I only looked for a second. Damnit. He's fine, but he needs to take it easy for a few weeks.

Which means no more throwing program for me unless Blaszczyk stops complaining and gets off his ass and throws with me. I am very near completing this program and I will not stop for a third time. I am really dying to get back onto a baseball field. I seriously thought that whole thing had passed. I guess it's the old addage that you can take the dog out of the fight, but you can't take the fight out of the dog. Fuckin' a... I hate cliches.
Steve took me to play capture the flag with his frat from UIC last night. It was pretty damn fun until the end when people got tired and the game just kind of peetered out. I guarded that flag like ugly on ape.
So yeah. Sorry that I'm in the rut of not updating for... ever and then putting three damn novels up, but it's what I am capable of right now.
Leave me alone.
