Happy Thanksgiving...

Well, here I am in Urbana at my brother's home celebrating my first Thanksgiving Dinner to my memory. Usually, I was either working or my mom was working so we could never really have a traditional Thanksgiving feast. Sure, we would have the feast, but it would be my cousins and I going into the kitchen of the White Eagle and scavenging for food whereever we could find something to our liking. I will never complain about it because... well, I liked doing it so much. Anyway, I'm watching a family of Kerby boys playing Katamari Damacy and ocasionally looking over to see my dad exuding confusion.

In other news... ERIN CAME HOME ON TUESDAY!!! She called me at work and unfortunately, I had to shoo her away and it made me feel awful the rest of the night (which lasted until about 2:30 am). I plan on seeing her on saturday hopefully. It will be good to get back the way my life used to be...

Oh, yeah... "Daughter" ended last weekend. Very bittersweet... The cast party was... something I will never forget for many good reasons as well as some reasons I am having troubles with. It was incredibly relaxing as well as hilarious. A naked stage crew member is all I need to have some fun, and THAT was only the tip of the iceberg!!! Since I don't feel like going into detail about why some things bothered me a bit, I will possibly leave that for another time. All in all, I had a wonderful time with this cast and I'm really glad to have met them and been a part in their life for a while. I won't forget them... Especially one person.

Anyway, HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL!!! Have a great holiday and let me know how everything goes.

Now Playing: "Katamari Damacy"

Song. Commercial. Delicious...

Heard Ratatat's "Seventeen Years" in a great HUMMER commercial the other day. My jeans are still recouperating from the massive amounts of cream applies to them...

In other news... This is the final weekend of An American Daughter as well as the weekend in which my SOC class pretty much ends. I have my final project due on monday and one way or another, it will be done by sunday... *sigh* ...God...

Performed the scene from "Bent" on wednesday. That was intense. As convincingly gay as I am in real life, I don't think I'm pulling it off on stage in a dramatic role quite as well.

Now Playing: Asuka Sakai & Charlie Kosei - "Que Sera Sera" (From the Katamari Damacy soundtrack)

I Like You/With Glasses, Too...

'Sup bitches?

...

In other news... I went out tonight... Yeah, weekend started at 2.00 p.m. central time today... WEDNESDAY. Anyway, I went to Starbucks (yeah, wotever) and hung out with Sonja and a friend of her's that was pretty cool. Good talks were had all around... Well, they talked a lot and I was just listening because there really was no way to relate any stories of mine to both of them at the same time... It was cool, don't worry.

Actually, Sonja just called me. That was nice.

I cannot wait to get money to make film. When someone starts telling me that my job is "filmmaker," I will be a happy boy.

Now Playing: Broken Social Scene - "Anthems for a Seventeen Year-Old Girl"

Who Knew?

Being busy - and I mean extremely busy - is a new sensation to me. I got all my workload for this past couple weeks done, and now I have a few days before I have to focus on the final stuff for the semester. However, these are not days where I can just lay back and enjoy things as they pass by. No, I had to go and join that play...

Its been great. We had our opener last night and it went without a hitch. Again, everyone is invited! 1600 E. Golf Road is the Des Plaines campus of Oakton Community College. For tickets and other info - call (847)635.2185. "An American Daughter" by Wendy Wasserstein. Good stuff...

In other news... Time is kinda goin' by pretty fast and I'm still freaked out about being single... There's almost nothing I can do that comes without a second-guess.

Now Playing: Van Morrison - "Sweet Thing"
