Trip to Champaign and Paid Gig...

So Vicky, Heather, Ashley and I went down to visit my brother this weekend stopping in Naperville at North Central College to see Chris on the way. It was a fun weekend of college-town experiences. We saw my broski's friends' band at a local drinking establishment on saturday night. A few too many long island ice teas for Vicky and shots of whiskey later, we went back to Matt's sweet office - apartment. Vicky was pretty hung over the whole way home on sunday which sucked for her but it all still made for a good weekend.

Later that night after getting home and watching The Haunting, I got offered a paid AC gig in Wisconsin for a graduate Directing III film. The DP is not a columbia person so they were in need of a Columbia-trained camera person to check out the camera and AC for $100 a day. Sweet deal. I may be able to drive there myself too because they would compensate for travel. We'll see. They need 2 days of help so that's experience on a Directing III set as well as an easy $200 in my pocket... And by 'my pocket' I mean 'Sallie Mae's pockets.'
