Can't get enough Headlines...

Anyway... Been a while I believe. Finished second week of principal photography on 'Avers'/'Neon Shirts and Food Stamps' and now that I have a mini-break I am doing what? Preproduction on 'Statler's Tapes' of course! It doesn't stop, I suppose.

I guess we all need to be brought up to speed about my filming situation. Let's see, where to start...

'Why' is still in some sort of limbo after our editor finished the cut for her independent project and graduated without giving anyone a copy.
'One Simple Life' (worst title EVER) is also in limbo because of an editor not being responsible enough to accept phone calls or return them. That editor finished a cut nearly a month ago after making me wait to see any semblance of the film (which I am conveniently supposed to color correct - for free) and never ended up calling me in to help. The director gave 'specific instructions' to make me wait for a final cut... I AM THE FUCKING CINEMATOGRAPHER. I am a goddamn department head! I need to see this shit! Ugh...
Peter Saltzman's 'Parking Stories' which I am supposed to direct this summer is something I've had NO time to devote to. I feel kind of bad but at the same time no one is exactly pressuring me on that front. They want it done this summer on no budget. I'm not sure he understands what goes into filming. I refuse to put my name on something that looks like a YouTube video.
'Bases Empty' is on hold due to my not having any time to plan it out or even crew the damn thing (I need to stop thinking that I am responsible for all that shit because technically I am NOT).
'Avers'/'Food Stamps and Neon Shirts' is almost done - as long as our director starts subtracting instead of adding.
'Statler's Tapes' is coming up. FAST. We leave in about 3 weeks and I have been low-balled on my department as far as budget goes but that's still in negotiation, so we'll see...

Anyway, that is that as of now. I want to read more and I want to BEACH with Vicky more. We'll see if I can accomplish those two things.
