Baseball...

And a lot of it...  Starting with the Sox (my Sox).  We've been having practice on saturday mornings from 6-9 at an indoor facility in Barrington and hopefully it will pay dividends once the season gets under way on saturday.  I hear it's supposed to rain that day so it may not begin until the next sunday which would work out great for me.  I'm shooting a wedding in the loop on saturday that begins @ 2 pm and will probably go until 3 or so.  The game starts at 4 in Waukegan...  Ugh.  It'd be cutting it close.  If there is a game and I can make it, I won't be catching anyway because we don't have a CF for the first month of the season, so that's me.  The indoor facility has let us get through some situational drills on defense and allowed us to work out some cobwebs before the season rather than use the first month to do that.  It's been good.

Went to the White Sox game last night with work people and Vick.  Fun times if you discount the fact they lost 11-6 to the Twins.  Whatever, it was fun.  Cold.  But fun.

Going to the Cubs' opener on monday!  Too bad its a single seat.  I'll just have to be one of those creeps with a radio and scorecard.  Maybe a green turtle neck and some glasses will complete the Bartman look.  I'm even sitting near that section...

About to order an unnecessary breakfast from Yolk...  Who am I kidding?  All breakfasts from Yolk are necessary.
