I Want to Create Something... Good

I finally got around to seeing "Serenity."

Aside from the first few minutes of the film being kinda shittily treated in post-porduction, it was a solid film. Its going to be weird when I watch the series again sometime down the line because of how visually intense the film was.

Anyway, I really am in film for two reasons; One: I'm not really a good enough actor to not be behind the camera. Two: I want to contribute something to the world that will have more people than those that reside in my family go; "Holy shit... That was good."

I get this feeling from time to time when something inspires me. No, "Serenity" is not on my list BEST MOVIES EVER, but it made me think about how awesome it must have been for them to know they are a part of something special, have it completely crushed and then revived again into something just as special... and have people AGREE WITH THEM.

Maybe I just want a fanclub or something, but I doubt it. I'm more concerned with... well too much more than that for that to be it.

Derrick and Bre got engaged!!! It was an absolutely perfect moment for them and, truth be told, it really has brought me closer to Derrick than ever before. We hang out all the time and it has been great. I am so un-fucking-believably happy for this guy. He knows it too, and now he wants to find me a "softball-playing, innocent girlfriend" to put in his words.
