Here in L.A.
Oh, wow. This is not the place where I am going to wax and wane about how wonderful L.A. is. This is my personal blog.
I will never live in this place. Not to say I won't be back or even that I won't relocate here for a short period of time. However, the people here are beyond saving and I cannot stand the mind-numbing things that are considered important. I mean, jesus. Everyone here is basically racist towards every ethnic group that isn't their own and the amount of close-mindedness actually physically hurts me.
The smog is unbearable and ruins the potentially breath-taking scenery. There is no public transportation and every single person (including those that live in the shit hole around our hotel) drives a car that in Chicago would cost over $40,000. They must spend all their money on plastic surgery and cars because the homes around here (excluding those in Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills) look like absolute shit. They are built like crap and since no one has yard space in this anthill of a city, no one is used to keeping up any kind of level of respectability when it comes to the appearance of their homes.
Pasadena is a beautiful place. It is a nice college town that, honestly, makes me wish I did realize my dream of spending my college days here playing baseball. However, even the most wonderful place I have seen here still has just one season. I cannot understand why people would want such monotony. The people here complain that there is nothing to do Chicago, and yet they are comfortable sitting in one type of season every day of every year.
I suppose it keeps their cars cleaner and their face-lifts tighter.
