Light it up now, people

Here we go, coming down to the end of the wire. Classes are officially over for me this week and I have just turned in the biggest paper this semester today and I was one of only four who actually finished on time. Professor let the good children out first and is currently giving the bad ones a spanking... educationally.

In other news, because one of the books my Modern Culture teacher was going to have us read as our last assignement was, unfortunately, out of print, he managed to persuade me to bring in Tezuka's Metropolis. A really kickass anime film directed by Rintaro and based on the original Metropolis by Fritz Lang. Cool film if you're into anime, and a great film if you want to get someone interested in the film genre.

Finally got around to watching Haibane renmei (from the creators of Lain) and I must say it was really cool. Visually intriguing and very dreamy feel to it. Great buy.
